Grant Street Associates, Inc. was contracted to sell the private club to specialized investors and/or developers who could redevelop the property for possible hospitality, conferencing, residential, office or other uses.
Executed a targeted marketing effort directed at C&W/GSA investor/developer clients involved with hospitality, conference center, residential and/or academic industries.
Conducted one-on-one telephone or in-person discussions with prospective buyers.
GSA’s particular knowledge of the buyers’ investment criteria and development and management capabilities allowed us to identify a targeted list of purchasers to pursue in our marketing efforts.
As a result of this targeted marketing, the property was sold to the University of Pittsburgh for development as a University-controlled hotel and meeting facility.
