John S. Jackson
Role and Responsibilities
As a Vice President at GSA, Mr. Jackson concentrates his efforts in the acquisition and disposition of retail investment properties as a member of the retail brokerage team. He is also responsible for various tenant representation and landlord representation projects including the analysis, marketing, and leasing of retail properties. Mr. Jackson most recently involved in the disposition of Pool City Plaza, a 50,000 square foot retail center located in Robinson Township. Mr. Jackson also helped a client recently acquire the North Allegheny Center, a 20,000 square foot retail center in Wexford. His current clients include First Commonwealth Bank, First Niagara Bank, First Merit Bank, and Moe’s Southwest Grill.
Prior to joining Grant Street, Mr. Jackson spent nine years as a Corporate Sales, Marketing and Finance Representative for NVR, Inc., based in Reston, Virginia. Mr. Jackson served a myriad of clients through creating and implementing strategies to manage and finance their real estate transactions. He developed a strong understanding of his clients’ expectations and the ability to market properties through highly effective interpersonal communication methods and appropriate management skills. Among his responsibilities in this role were the preparation of comparative market analyses, sales and financing of new construction projects, and training of peers and senior managers. Mr. Jackson also served in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Communications Sergeant for the United States Military.
